Group Bio

Chozen is the name of a group of talented young artists from Conroe, Texas, just north of Houston. Two lyrical rap artists mixed with the strong and beautiful voice of a young singer makes this phenomenal team. Markus Swiff Johnson and Joshua BLUJ Lemmons have been rapping together for six years. For two of those years they were not serving God, and wrote secular music. Briann Reece, shy but talented, discovered her God given gift of voice, and for two years she has used it to touch the heart of her hometown. Then God came into their lives, changing their hearts, their direction, and formed them into this dynamic trio. Since then they have been ministering the gospel through song to save souls and to reach the people who are lost. Since their decision to minister instead of just giving performances God has blessed them bountifully. The scripture in which they stand on is: MATTHEW 20:16 So the last shall be first and the first last: for many are called, but few are chosen. We firmly believe we are not only called, but truly we are chosen.
